In the 8th play minute Nikos Christou came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Roman Barrufet. 1-0. Roman Barrufet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damião Quintanilha went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 15 minutes into the match, Atlético Arenillas's goalkeeper Roman Barrufet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damião Quintanilha. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Carvalhal in the 16th minute of play forced Atlético Arenillas's goalkeeper Roman Barrufet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Barrufet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikos Christou in the 20th minute. Roman Barrufet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nikos Christou showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. Nikos Christou hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. AM United's Hildeberto Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pinto Anda in the 32nd minute of play. Atlético Arenillas were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after AM United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wellington Piñeiro took the corner. Nikos Christou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Roman Barrufet made a huge save. Wellington Piñeiro hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th play minute Nikos Christou came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Roman Barrufet. 5-0. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, David Carvalhal took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Roman Barrufet to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lopez Coteron made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Jerónimo Leme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AM United and the Atlético Arenillas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jerónimo Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Carvalhal in the 54th minute of play forced Atlético Arenillas's goalkeeper Roman Barrufet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Barrufet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Christou in the 55th minute of play. When Damião Quintanilha came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the AM United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damião Quintanilha couldn't finish the play. Roman Barrufet came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by AM United's David Carvalhal. But to his dismay, David Carvalhal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 62 minutes into the match, Atlético Arenillas's goal looked a bit too open when David Carvalhal came free, but Roman Barrufet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atlético Arenillas's Wellington Piñeiro got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the game, Damião Quintanilha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Roman Barrufet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 68 minutes into the match, Nikos Christou notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Atlético Arenillas's Roman Barrufet. Roman Barrufet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roman Barrufet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heitor Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Damião Quintanilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Barrufet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damião Quintanilha in the 73rd minute of play forced Atlético Arenillas's goalkeeper Roman Barrufet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lopez Coteron's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Hildeberto Ramalho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roman Barrufet came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by AM United's Elias Novais. But to his dismay, Elias Novais quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. In the 89th minute, Elias Novais made a precise shot to the right of Roman Barrufet. Atlético Arenillas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. In the 92nd minute, Damião Quintanilha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pinto Anda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that AM United were the better team. AM United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
