The supporters of Gone With the Win booed when EL CORTO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Lore didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gone With the Win getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Kyle Eglington hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardino Manilan during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Eglington, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Jack Saunders's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Abadia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. EL CORTO FC's Fausto Abadia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lloyd Elding in the 39th minute of play. EL CORTO FC's Damian Firmo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by John Paul Metcalfe but with some difficulty. If Dante Calvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jack Saunders made a kick off. EL CORTO FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 50th minute, when Kyle Eglington scored to the left of an out of position Fausto Abadia, making the score, 2-4. Lloyd Elding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Rio Dunn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gone With the Win fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Gone With the Win's Rio Dunn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fausto Abadia. That made the score 2-6 after 62 minutes of play.
