Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Key Biscayne FC's Mohammed Sprague started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wellington Piñeiro hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Alex Hyatt took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Barrufet. Roman Barrufet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Alex Hyatt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Key Biscayne FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some careless play in the Atlético Arenillas defense, Drew Latham kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Barrufet. The Atlético Arenillas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Barrufet should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Mohammed Sprague cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Roman Barrufet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Atlético Arenillas defense, Alex Hyatt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Barrufet. The Atlético Arenillas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Barrufet should have stopped the shot. Roman Barrufet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Drew Latham in the 29th minute of the match. Drew Latham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Key Biscayne FC's Mohammed Sprague in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Arenillas's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Key Biscayne FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lopez Coteron was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Xzaver Garival mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Arenillas and the Key Biscayne FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Atlético Arenillas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xzaver Garival to maneuver through the defense. Roman Barrufet stood somewhat misplaced when Stig Mårtensson came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 54 minute. When Key Biscayne FC's Alex Hyatt in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Arenillas's goalie prevented a goal. Atlético Arenillas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Dexter Benton scored to the left of an out of position Roman Barrufet, making the score, 0-7. In the 67th minute, Atlético Arenillas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Drew Latham fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Atlético Arenillas's Roman Barrufet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Arenillas from getting a goal against them. Lopez Coteron's late challenge caught a Key Biscayne FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lopez Coteron helped the player get up and apologised. When Alex Hyatt came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Key Biscayne FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Hyatt couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Key Biscayne FC's Alex Hyatt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roman Barrufet. That made the score 0-8 after 77 minutes of play. The supporters of Key Biscayne FC booed when Atlético Arenillas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvarez Onis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig Mårtensson struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Roman Barrufet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Key Biscayne FC. 83 minutes into the game, Drew Latham recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roman Barrufet. Drew Latham showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. The crowd rose to their feet as Alex Hyatt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roman Barrufet. That made the score 0-10 in the 86 minute of play. Roman Barrufet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Hyatt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roman Barrufet came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Key Biscayne FC's Alex Hyatt. But to his dismay, Alex Hyatt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. In the 94th minute, Key Biscayne FC's Mohammed Sprague dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. Key Biscayne FC played a much better game than Atlético Arenillas and deserved their victory. The Atlético Arenillas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
