Afonsinho Nunes came out of the goal and Leal Salgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th match minute, Clube Atletico Alagoano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Neves to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 14 minutes, Diogo Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diogo Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diogo Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leal Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonsinho Nunes having to interfere. The supporters of Clube Atletico Alagoano booed when Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Leitão didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laureano Carmo to make the kick off. Artur Palha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Clube Atletico Alagoano had won after a very even match.
