Zurdo FC's Jozef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Chaptal in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Zurdo FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Manuel Conrao hit a great ball. The supporters of Zurdo FC booed when Elderslie Magpies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neal Weatherby didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Ongile came free, but Christian Kerville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jozef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Souness in the 25th minute of the match. Sam Mccartan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Etxekopar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozef Wandzik having to interfere. Jozef Wandzik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidio Etxekopar's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Elderslie Magpies from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Arty Behla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Moscardi charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Moscardi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Zurdo FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Mauro Moscardi hit a great ball. Jozef Wandzik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Chaptal in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Elderslie Magpies were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cornelio Ongile made the kick off in the second half. Christian Kerville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Ongile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Zurdo FC's goalkeeper Jozef Wandzik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute Cornelio Ongile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Kerville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Zurdo FC booed when Elderslie Magpies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finnlaugur Ásvaldsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornelio Ongile in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Kerville prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Neal Weatherby fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jozef Wandzik, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Ongile in the 73rd minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Christian Kerville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 played minutes Zurdo FC got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Mundo. Elderslie Magpies's Cipriano Gilabert was substituted for Neal Weatherby. Gervasio Mundo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Chaptal in the 78th minute of play forced Zurdo FC's goalkeeper Jozef Wandzik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Etxekopar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jozef Wandzik made a huge save. Gervasio Mundo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Jozef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Gilabert in the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Zurdo FC's Cornelio Ongile got a free kick in the 91st minute. Zurdo FC's Jozef Wandzik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Zurdo FC from getting a goal against them. Elderslie Magpies's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
