After 5 minutes, Beto Aparecido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ITAFUT 4EVER and the Joy Division Athletic players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, ITAFUT 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Evair Palmeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ITAFUT 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Edgar Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of ITAFUT 4EVER booed when Joy Division Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Hermon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Evair Palmeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Abbondanzieri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Virgilio Chumo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Evair Palmeira made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Abbondanzieri. Joy Division Athletic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Sugoi in the 27th minute of play forced ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Zé Augusto Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Nestor Estebano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Augusto Cardoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Joy Division Athletic's Roberto Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Baiano in the 44th minute of play. The Joy Division Athletic players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ITAFUT 4EVER were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Estebano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Beto Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo Gerber. In the 57th minute, Nestor Estebano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, Joy Division Athletic's Nestor Estebano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Augusto Cardoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 71st match minute, ITAFUT 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evair Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Virgilio Chumo's late challenge caught a ITAFUT 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgilio Chumo helped the player get up and apologised. Virgilio Chumo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Evair Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. ITAFUT 4EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Evair Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Abbondanzieri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Baiano scored 1-4 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Abbondanzieri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Augusto Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Tartalo in the 93rd minute of the match. ITAFUT 4EVER played a much better game than Joy Division Athletic and deserved their victory. The Joy Division Athletic players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
