Jonas Erserman started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Ali Erdem Tümkan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jon Matsson. Nykvarn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Erdem Tümkan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulkerim Kaçan in the 10th minute of play forced Nykvarn's goalkeeper Jon Matsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jon Matsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Erdem Tümkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evert Dusett hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Jon Matsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Numan Işın, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes, Evert Dusett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nykvarn and the LOTUS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evert Dusett kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Jon Matsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Erdem Tümkan in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Ramazan Özge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Nykvarn got a freekick which was hit by Pontus Tunström. Ali Numan Işın took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jon Matsson. Nykvarn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Ramazan Özge notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Nykvarn's Jon Matsson. Jon Matsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Gabriel Drewitz fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nykvarn's protests and gave Gabriel Drewitz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, Nykvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Drewitz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ali Numan Işın managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOTUS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Numan Işın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Matsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Nykvarn defense, Ali Erdem Tümkan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jon Matsson. The Nykvarn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jon Matsson should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Erdem Tümkan in the 36th minute of play forced Nykvarn's goalkeeper Jon Matsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Ove Holmberg hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Jon Matsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Erdem Tümkan in the 40th minute of play. Jonas Erserman charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Erserman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Nykvarn got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Erserman. The Nykvarn players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LOTUS were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ali Erdem Tümkan was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Nykvarn's Bengt-Rune Jakobsson got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Erdem Tümkan in the 54th minute of play forced Nykvarn's goalkeeper Jon Matsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Numan Işın could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Jon Matsson made a huge save. Jonas Erserman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boran Münib having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt-Rune Jakobsson during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Nykvarn getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Bengt-Rune Jakobsson hit a great ball. Pontus Tunström kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Ali Numan Işın took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jon Matsson. Nykvarn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Ramazan Özge notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Nykvarn's Jon Matsson. Jon Matsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Bengt-Rune Jakobsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. It was beautiful to see LOTUS's Gencay Ganim in action when he in the 90th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Erdem Tümkan in the 92nd minute of play forced Nykvarn's goalkeeper Jon Matsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdulkerim Kaçan in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Matsson saved Nykvarn from getting behind. LOTUS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
