The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lubor Penev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Walter Huarte made a huge save. In the 16thth minute of the game Cevallos Provencio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INTOCABLES 2oo4's Jose Manuel Sempere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 19 played minutes Astillero del Guayas got a freekick which was hit by Zarando Eguizabal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cevallos Provencio in the 23rd minute of play forced INTOCABLES 2oo4's goalkeeper Jose Manuel Sempere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Astillero del Guayas's Juan-Pablo Leyarte got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Cevallos Provencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Astillero del Guayas's Xaven Galiana managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Agustín Galego in the 30 minute of the game. Damian Abrego could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Walter Huarte made a huge save. After 35 minutes of play, INTOCABLES 2oo4's Lubor Penev made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walter Huarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Walter Huarte came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by INTOCABLES 2oo4's Evarado Ucero. But to his dismay, Evarado Ucero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to INTOCABLES 2oo4 getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Damian Abrego hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zarando Eguizabal to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Astillero del Guayas's Cevallos Provencio got a free kick in the 50th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lubor Penev in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Huarte saved Astillero del Guayas from getting behind. When Agustín Galego fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INTOCABLES 2oo4's protests and gave Agustín Galego a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th match minute, INTOCABLES 2oo4 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Galego to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to INTOCABLES 2oo4 getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ulises Mendez hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Agustín Galego in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Astillero del Guayas's Marques Martin. In the 72nd minute, Marques Martin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rdth minute of the game Lubor Penev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astillero del Guayas's Walter Huarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on INTOCABLES 2oo4's corner Evarado Ucero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Walter Huarte quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Astillero del Guayas's Cevallos Provencio got a free kick in the 75th minute. Inge Galego hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Jose Manuel Sempere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zarando Eguizabal in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lubor Penev in the 81st minute of play forced Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Walter Huarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lubor Penev in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Huarte saved Astillero del Guayas from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Mendez in the 91st minute of play forced Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Walter Huarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Agustín Galego in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Astillero del Guayas's Hakkı Deniz Bedi. Juan-Pablo Leyarte kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Damian Abrego struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Walter Huarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTOCABLES 2oo4. When the referee blew the final whistle, INTOCABLES 2oo4 could leave the field as winners, despite Astillero del Guayas having more of the ball for most of the match.
