When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Herminio Guifre took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Clodoveo Lawrence to make any attempt to save it. 12 minutes into the match, TILCARA F C's goalkeeper Clodoveo Lawrence had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nereo Lia. Alfredo Loren might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clodoveo Lawrence. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Loren ran back to his position shaking his head. TILCARA F C's Clodoveo Lawrence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Guifre in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herminio Guifre got free with Clodoveo Lawrence in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clodoveo Lawrence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Loren in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Loren in the 23rd minute of play forced TILCARA F C's goalkeeper Clodoveo Lawrence to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee gave TILCARA F C a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edgardo Ubarna, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of UPAU FC's Felix Inocente. 1-2. After 31 played minutes TILCARA F C got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Baraquiel. Clodoveo Lawrence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Loren in the 33rd minute of the match. Romulo Refugio hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, UPAU FC's Alfredo Loren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clodoveo Lawrence made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Aaron Barbosa took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Clodoveo Lawrence to make any attempt to save it. 46 minutes into the game, UPAU FC's Herminio Guifre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clodoveo Lawrence made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

Romulo Refugio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, TILCARA F C's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Guifre came free, but Clodoveo Lawrence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clodoveo Lawrence didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaron Barbosa went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. 66 minutes into the game, UPAU FC's Alfredo Loren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clodoveo Lawrence made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-3. 71 minutes into the match, TILCARA F C's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Guifre came free, but Clodoveo Lawrence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clodoveo Lawrence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Clodoveo Lawrence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Lia in the 74th minute of play. Herminio Guifre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clodoveo Lawrence read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Nestor Argina's late challenge caught a UPAU FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nestor Argina helped the player get up and apologised. Nestor Argina hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Aaron Barbosa notched a goal, 9-3, to the right of TILCARA F C's Clodoveo Lawrence. Clodoveo Lawrence was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, UPAU FC's Herminio Guifre got a free kick in the 94th minute. UPAU FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
