TILCARA F C's Clodoveo Lawrence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uğuralp Gülerce in the 26th minute of play. Gaffar Uram stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romulo Refugio's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Edgardo Ubarna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Gaffar Uram made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolga Aşkın got free with Clodoveo Lawrence in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 54 minutes into the match, TILCARA F C's goal looked a bit too open when Kahraman Saraçoğlu came free, but Clodoveo Lawrence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romulo Refugio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaffar Uram took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Baraquiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute Edgardo Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaffar Uram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave TILCARA F C a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edgardo Ubarna, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s Gaffar Uram. 6-1. TILCARA F C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
