Agroboys SM - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleiton Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zeca Medeiros hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goal looked a bit too open when Cauan Travassos came free, but Alex Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After a defensive mix-up in Agroboys SM - CIMZ's zone, Carlos Alberto Simão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Alberto Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SRP-Laguna booed when Agroboys SM - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Sarmento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Hoffmann in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Régis Porto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alex Sarmento. That made the score 1-3 after 91 minutes of play. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
