Judas Zarate stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Halit Tokgöz's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Çeliker Barbaros hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Bornova's Korkutalp Kabil got control of the ball when Amancio Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Duarte in the 18th minute of play forced Bornova's goalkeeper Korkutalp Kabil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nicanor Oidor fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fcion C.A.'s protests and gave Nicanor Oidor a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fcion C.A.'s Nicanor Oidor got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 47thth minute of the game Halit Tokgöz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fcion C.A.'s Judas Zarate was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Halit Tokgöz in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Judas Zarate saved Fcion C.A. from getting behind. The Bornova fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Bornova's Halit Tokgöz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Halit Tokgöz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Korkutalp Kabil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Fix in the 54th minute of the match. Korkutalp Kabil had in the 99thth minute some difficulties stopping Ignacio Guillelme's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fcion C.A.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
