The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Humberto Beat fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fcion C.A.'s protests and gave Humberto Beat a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of LenSalvador CF-A.C.S booed when Fcion C.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Judas Verón didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jhalmar Quijada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignacio Guillelme hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jhonnatan Gallegos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Judas Zarate. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Jhonnatan Gallegos managed to get in a good position for a shot. LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's supporters rose to their feet, but Jhonnatan Gallegos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Judas Zarate breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Sigaran got free with Judas Zarate in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the game, Pastor Dei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Zelvin Victorino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pastor Dei scored 1-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zelvin Victorino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Fcion C.A. were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jhalmar Quijada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Pastor Dei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th match minute, LenSalvador CF-A.C.S was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Sigaran to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Ignacio Guillelme notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's Zelvin Victorino. Zelvin Victorino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mauricio Sigaran got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Fcion C.A.'s Humberto Beat managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jairo Rivera in the 64 minute of the game. Zelvin Victorino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Fix in the 68th minute of play. After 69 minutes LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ignacio Guillelme who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Marcial Panfilo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Amancio Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th match minute, Fcion C.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Dei to maneuver through the defense. Zelvin Victorino made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Ignacio Guillelme sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of LenSalvador CF-A.C.S booed when Fcion C.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Paniagua didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Will Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's supporters crossed their fingers, but Will Alvarenga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Guillelme during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of LenSalvador CF-A.C.S booed when Fcion C.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Guillelme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Judas Zarate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jhonnatan Gallegos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fcion C.A. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
