If Gýmir Gryc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pajala Sunrise's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Michal Naskrent scored to the left of an out of position Daniel Hök, making the score, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyryl Rybak got free with Daniel Hök in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yngve Sandström made a kick off. Wawrzyniec Dziewedik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Hök having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Pajala Sunrise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yngve Sandström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Larsson in the 59th minute of play forced Jadymy Durś's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zdzislaw Jerzyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Larsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zdzislaw Jerzyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Pajala Sunrise getting a freekick after 84 minutes play.
