An unexpectedly hard shot by Alp Çoğahan in the 10th minute of play forced INTER Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Sochacki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. WKS Śląsk Wrocław's Konrad Marut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Marciewicz in the 37th minute of play. Radomir Haskiewicz hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After the first half WKS Śląsk Wrocław were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alp Çoğahan to strike the kick off in the second half. Eugeniusz Sochacki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Henryk in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alp Çoğahan in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugeniusz Sochacki saved INTER Sosnowiec from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in WKS Śląsk Wrocław's zone, Ksawery Jarocewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konrad Marut came out of the goal and Ksawery Jarocewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Konrad Marut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Marciewicz in the 60th minute of play. When Norbert Poremba fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WKS Śląsk Wrocław's protests and gave Norbert Poremba a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of INTER Sosnowiec booed when WKS Śląsk Wrocław was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Poremba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Ksawery Jarocewicz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Konrad Marut skillfully saved the ball. Konrad Marut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwan Marciewicz's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iwan Marciewicz in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konrad Marut saved WKS Śląsk Wrocław from getting behind. INTER Sosnowiec's Eugeniusz Sochacki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save INTER Sosnowiec from getting a goal against them. If Damian Henryk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Henryk in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eugeniusz Sochacki, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 91st match minute, WKS Śląsk Wrocław was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dobromir Hodyl to maneuver through the defense. Konrad Marut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwan Marciewicz's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The supporters of WKS Śląsk Wrocław booed when INTER Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacy Jajko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
