The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Rosario Central's Fabricio Montel got control of the ball when Arne Botnen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Rosario Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Jusepe to maneuver through the defense. Saga TF's Magnus Egeberg got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Rosario Central getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Hipolito Jusepe hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Hipolito Jusepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarle Westby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosario Central's Fabricio Montel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Rosario Central from getting a goal against them. Jarle Westby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabricio Montel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarle Westby in the 38th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Erubiel Tohias made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Magnus Egeberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabricio Montel was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Jarle Westby scored 4-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabricio Montel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute Jarle Westby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Montel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Hotz kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Jarle Westby came free, but Fabricio Montel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabricio Montel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarle Westby's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Jarle Westby struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Fabricio Montel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saga TF. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarle Westby in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabricio Montel saved Rosario Central from getting behind. Fabricio Montel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Egeberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Jarle Westby came free, but Fabricio Montel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Botnen came free, but Fabricio Montel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
