César Vieira hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Carlos Augusto Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Coelho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bethel Raba came free, but Romário Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Bethel Raba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romário Vianna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Samuca Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dênis Matos's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Samuca Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Ronaldo Nazário De Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A nice corner shot did that José Augusto Alagoano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Samuca Reis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bethel Raba might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romário Vianna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bethel Raba ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Coelho FC defense, Bethel Raba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romário Vianna. The Coelho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romário Vianna should have stopped the shot. Samuca Reis made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Tom Coelho sent off a good shot on target. Romário Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu de Salles in the 32nd minute of play. Tom Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Ronaldo Nazário De Lima sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romário Vianna skillfully saved the ball. The attack was good, but when Luís Guilherme Vale in the 42nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Romário Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Nazário De Lima in the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bethel Raba to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Coelho FC's goalkeeper Romário Vianna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldo Nazário De Lima. Romário Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bethel Raba in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bethel Raba in the 61st minute of play forced Coelho FC's goalkeeper Romário Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Bethel Raba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PREZULO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. With a little luck, Coelho FC's Romário Vianna got control of the ball when Ronaldo Nazário De Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Ronaldo Nazário De Lima could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Romário Vianna however easily saved by the left post. If Arthur Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Coelho FC defense, Bethel Raba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romário Vianna. The Coelho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romário Vianna should have stopped the shot. Romário Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Coelho FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Bethel Raba scored to the left of an out of position Romário Vianna, making the score, 0-8. Coelho FC's Romário Vianna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Coelho FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, PREZULO FC's Walmir Campidelis got a free kick in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Barral notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of PREZULO FC's Samuca Reis. Samuca Reis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched PREZULO FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
