When António Gama fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garanhão do SUL's protests and gave António Gama a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Garanhão do SUL's Cláudio Balsemão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dirk Versluys. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. In the 10th minute António Gama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk Versluys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute of the match, Cláudio Balsemão tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dirk Versluys saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Twelve Ravens's zone, Cláudio Balsemão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dirk Versluys came out of the goal and Cláudio Balsemão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octavian Van Beetz charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octavian Van Beetz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Heitor Peseiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dolf Iansens in the 24th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by 龙然明. 1-1 became the score in the 27th minute when Dolf Iansens elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Jaques Van Hoeijveldt came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Twelve Ravens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaques Van Hoeijveldt couldn't finish the play. Heitor Peseiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolf Iansens in the 34th minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Cláudio Balsemão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Twelve Ravens's Dirk Versluys was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Twelve Ravens's Edward Verhelst managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Salvador Lousada in the 37 minute of the game. After 42 played minutes Cláudio Balsemão rounded Twelve Ravens's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. In the 45th minute Cláudio Balsemão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk Versluys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Twelve Ravens's Dirk Versluys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Balsemão in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by André Roriz in the 51st minute of play forced Twelve Ravens's goalkeeper Dirk Versluys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Twelve Ravens's Dirk Versluys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Gama in the 53rd minute of play. Dirk Versluys didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Roriz went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After 58 minutes of play, Garanhão do SUL's André Roriz made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dirk Versluys was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dolf Iansens's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Heitor Peseiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dirk Versluys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Twelve Ravens's Dirk Versluys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Roriz in the 65th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Twelve Ravens got a freekick which was hit by Sebbe Asselberghs. After a rather tough play, Twelve Ravens's Sebbe Asselberghs got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 76th minute, Octavian Van Beetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrez Wintermans hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Alek Decloedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Peseiro having to interfere. Herberto Trigueiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebbe Asselberghs's late challenge caught a Garanhão do SUL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebbe Asselberghs helped the player get up and apologised. Sebbe Asselberghs kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
