After 14 minutes, Vitório Fontes made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Valle Saron's Theobald Manjon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Excelência de Luxe's Bernardo Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Saron in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Brun Mugica had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Fonseca. Excelência de Luxe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brun Mugica was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Saron in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Fonseca saved Excelência de Luxe from getting behind. Donzel Barbanera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Fonseca having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martinez Costeras in the 37th minute of play forced Excelência de Luxe's goalkeeper Bernardo Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. One of Excelência de Luxe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Valle Saron:s goal. Bernardo Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donzel Barbanera in the 67th minute of the match. Freddy Saron took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardo Fonseca. Excelência de Luxe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 75th minute Thomas Saron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brun Mugica struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Bernardo Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valle Saron.
