Betão de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emirhan Sultani in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute COURO COME FC were awarded a corner. Lauro Guerra went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 15th minute, Elder Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rdth minute of the game Otávio Arce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but COURO COME FC's José Maria Pontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jailson Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Maria Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Luz in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Bogumil Dankowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Betão de Amaral. S.E. Cachoeirinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bogumil Dankowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. José Maria Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Arce in the 43rd minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper José Maria Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute of the match Joaquim Freitas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Maria Pontes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when COURO COME FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marconi Søback didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bogumil Dankowski to make the kick off. Betão de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emirhan Sultani in the 51st minute of the match. Júlio do Vale hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When Elder Luz fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E. Cachoeirinha's protests and gave Elder Luz a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes, COURO COME FC's Pedro Luiz Macedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Betão de Amaral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in COURO COME FC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Emirhan Sultani managed to get in a good position for a shot. COURO COME FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emirhan Sultani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão de Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogumil Dankowski in the 65th minute of play. Luiz Moreira in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Maria Pontes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 73 minutes into the match, Ulisses da Mata had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Betão de Amaral. S.E. Cachoeirinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulisses da Mata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. The supporters of S.E. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogumil Dankowski couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, COURO COME FC's Júlio do Vale got a free kick in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Freitas in the 85th minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper José Maria Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco de Castro hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. S.E. Cachoeirinha's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
