Gualterio Daunte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonid Nazaria in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Cornea in the 9th minute of play forced River de Ramos Mejía's goalkeeper Gualterio Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, River de Ramos Mejía's Everardo Izel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Everardo Izel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of River de Ramos Mejía protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Everardo Izel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of River de Ramos Mejía:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Truseni:s goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Damian Costante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River de Ramos Mejía's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Costante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute Leonid Nazaria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute Mihail Postolache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute Teodor Cornea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mihail Postolache was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, River de Ramos Mejía's Gualterio Daunte got control of the ball when Mihail Postolache tried to sneak it across the goal line. River de Ramos Mejía's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Leonid Nazaria scored to the left of an out of position Gualterio Daunte, making the score, 0-5. A collision led to River de Ramos Mejía getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jose Cambranes hit a great ball. Teodor Cornea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Gualterio Daunte when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nicolae Papuc in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gualterio Daunte, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The FC Truseni fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when FC Truseni's Mihail Postolache looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gualterio Daunte stood somewhat misplaced when Mircea Dadu came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 72 minute. 77 minutes into the game, Mircea Dadu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Gualterio Daunte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihail Postolache in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gualterio Daunte saved River de Ramos Mejía from getting behind. Gualterio Daunte came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Truseni's Teodor Cornea. But to his dismay, Teodor Cornea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Gualterio Daunte came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Truseni's Leonid Nazaria. But to his dismay, Leonid Nazaria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. In the 89th minute Nicolae Papuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorin Dobã could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Gualterio Daunte made a huge save. Gualterio Daunte was a little too slow when Teodor Cornea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-12. 94 minutes into the match, River de Ramos Mejía's goalkeeper Gualterio Daunte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodor Cornea. 96 minutes into the match, River de Ramos Mejía's goal looked a bit too open when Leonid Nazaria came free, but Gualterio Daunte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Teodor Cornea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gualterio Daunte. That made the score 0-13 in the 97 minute of play. FC Truseni's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
