Spectators: 7537 (Terracing: 5654, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bengt-Rune Rosen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Björnlunda IF were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Blomstermåla BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Ekström took the corner. Christer Trillkott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Björnlunda IF's Daniel Ekström got a free kick in the 10th minute. Peter Ivarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Rune Rosen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 minutes Björnlunda IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carl Nordlander who took care of the corner kick. In the 15th match minute, Björnlunda IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Ekström to maneuver through the defense. Peter Ivarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Erserman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Ivarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Ekblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Peter Ivarsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörn Erserman in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Robert Åberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Ivarsson. Björnlunda IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Åberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Åke Johnsson came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Björnlunda IF's Sven-Edvin Blixt. But to his dismay, Sven-Edvin Blixt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 41 minutes of play, Björnlunda IF's Sven-Edvin Blixt made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Åke Johnsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Blomstermåla BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Björnlunda IF were winning 1-3.

Åke Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Edvin Blixt in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Blomstermåla BK booed when Björnlunda IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Trillkott didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt-Rune Rosen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter Ivarsson having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Hellström in the 61st minute of play forced Björnlunda IF's goalkeeper Peter Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Sven-Edvin Blixt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Björnlunda IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Edvin Blixt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Åke Johnsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 70 minutes, Sven-Edvin Blixt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Björnlunda IF and the Blomstermåla BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sven-Edvin Blixt kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Blixt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Åke Johnsson, 1-4. Peter Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörn Erserman in the 82nd minute of the match. Arvid Åberg hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute Bengt-Rune Rosen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Ivarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Johnsson having to interfere. Christer Trillkott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
