With an all-out effort, BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's Francesco Toldo threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Béla Paál, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Francesco Toldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ágoston Battai in the 10th minute. Nacho Videv recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Máté Saághy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitar Chankov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balázs Zarka's late challenge caught a THE CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Balázs Zarka helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's Balázs Zarka got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tencho Kodov in the 24th minute of play forced BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's goalkeeper Máté Saághy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's zone, Tencho Kodov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Máté Saághy came out of the goal and Tencho Kodov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Ágoston Battai managed to get in a good position for a shot. BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ágoston Battai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francesco Toldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dimitar Chankov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dimitar Chankov might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Máté Saághy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dimitar Chankov ran back to his position shaking his head. When Bálint Pásztor fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's protests and gave Bálint Pásztor a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Bálint Pásztor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dimitar Chankov fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The wind increased when Tencho Kodov made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to THE CLUB getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Marco Verratti hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the game, Imre Balázs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Francesco Toldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, THE CLUB's Marco Verratti got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 62nd minute Tencho Kodov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máté Saághy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Béla Paál managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dimitar Chankov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ágoston Battai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dimitar Chankov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máté Saághy having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tencho Kodov in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Máté Saághy saved BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK from getting behind. After 78 minutes of play BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's Bálint Pásztor was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 78th match minute, BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bálint Pásztor to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 84 minutes, Svetozar Popchev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. THE CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svetozar Popchev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Máté Saághy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tencho Kodov in the 88th minute of the match. When Tencho Kodov came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the THE CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tencho Kodov couldn't finish the play. Adorján Havasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Máté Saághy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tencho Kodov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the THE CLUB players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK.
