Ciro Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Florin in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by alvarado's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pastor Lano was slow to take the kick. During this time Bahía é Carnaval's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 14 minutes, Vinicio Florin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahía é Carnaval's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Florin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Ostadar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Demario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fidel Estefan came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by alvarado's Zsolt Szénási. But to his dismay, Zsolt Szénási quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Desiderio Demario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute Berk Tümerk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Estefan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Bahía é Carnaval defense, Berk Tümerk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fidel Estefan. The Bahía é Carnaval fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Estefan should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute Vinicio Florin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Ostadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Heyse in the 33rd minute of play forced Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Fidel Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Gagriel hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ulf Heyse sped through Bahía é Carnaval's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fidel Estefan. Fidel Estefan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Heyse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berk Tümerk scored 0-4 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fidel Estefan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 56 played minutes alvarado got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Lorenz. 60 minutes into the match, Ulf Heyse notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Bahía é Carnaval's Fidel Estefan. Fidel Estefan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as alvarado's Ulf Heyse slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fidel Estefan. That made the score 0-6 after 71 minutes of play. Fidel Estefan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Txartiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fidel Estefan was a little too slow when Gabriel Admon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-7. Ulf Heyse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Fidel Estefan made a huge save. After 82 played minutes alvarado got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Txartiko. Ulf Heyse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Fidel Estefan made a huge save. Ciro Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Florin in the 90th minute of play. Fidel Estefan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Admon in the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 minutes, Aquilino Txartiko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the alvarado and the Bahía é Carnaval players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Aquilino Txartiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The alvarado players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
