Quilmes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Mirande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Arotza in the 13th minute of play forced Galena Kielce's goalkeeper Artur Sarnat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Mirande made a great header on Quilmes's corner, it was just that Galena Kielce's Artur Sarnat managed to reach the ball for a save. Valentin Shepherd, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victoriano Mirande in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Sarnat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Artur Sarnat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Mirande in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Galena Kielce's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Arotza came free, but Artur Sarnat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Sarnat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Mirande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Cezary Lasota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Donato Arotza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Sarnat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kacper Malik was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Galena Kielce's zone, Victoriano Mirande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Sarnat came out of the goal and Victoriano Mirande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Galena Kielce's Artur Sarnat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Mirande in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Galena Kielce getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Edgar Pisarczyk hit a great ball. Artur Sarnat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Shepherd, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Artur Sarnat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Mirande in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Victoriano Mirande cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Artur Sarnat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Arotza in the 69th minute of play forced Galena Kielce's goalkeeper Artur Sarnat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Galena Kielce's Wiktor Domanski got a free kick in the 74th minute. Kazimierz Zatorski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Carlomagno having to interfere. Artur Sarnat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Arotza's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Victoriano Mirande cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Artur Sarnat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Galena Kielce's Artur Sarnat got control of the ball when Victoriano Mirande tried to sneak it across the goal line. Galena Kielce's Artur Sarnat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Galena Kielce from getting a goal against them. The Galena Kielce fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Quilmes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
