Barrilete Cósmico FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Mendebal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The Club Atletico Lanus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. If Nereo Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sixto Cortez during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 74 minutes, Rodrigo Eli made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Barrilete Cósmico FC's Erubiel Mitxaut tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Barrilete Cósmico FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atletico Lanus were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
