Orlando Dante was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to EL PEPO FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Maximo Bide hit a great ball. Montesclarense E.C.'s Nicolas Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Orlando Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Clodio in the 23rd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Elias Novaes. Nicolas Sousas short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Herminio Afonso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eustacio Loren tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Herminio Afonso. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 44th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Clodio made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Paulo Luz during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st minute, João Paulo Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Montesclarense E.C.'s Orlando Dante got control of the ball when Rafael Clodio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicolas Sousa took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herminio Afonso. Herminio Afonso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elias Novaes during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Elias Novaes. EL PEPO FC's Rafael Clodio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Orlando Dante but with some difficulty. Ramon Gabrio's late challenge caught a Montesclarense E.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Gabrio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Montesclarense E.C. booed when EL PEPO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Gabrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pablo Ferman charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Ferman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, EL PEPO FC's Pablo Ferman got a free kick in the 78th minute. Mazinho Barral was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of EL PEPO FC booed when Montesclarense E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Beltxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Pedrão Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Montesclarense E.C.'s attentive Elias Novaes managed to snatch the ball when Bernardo Salvino made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. Montesclarense E.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
