The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, REAL COHOLICS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Henriguez to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Moscoso kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Emanuel Peren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lion Messi in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Jose Rios notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of La Scaloneta's Leo Asteri. Leo Asteri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emanuel Peren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 18th minute, Lion Messi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Peren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jonathan Henriguez struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Leo Asteri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for REAL COHOLICS. 26 minutes into the match, REAL COHOLICS's goal looked a bit too open when Lion Messi came free, but Emanuel Peren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of La Scaloneta booed when REAL COHOLICS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Rios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Peren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lionel Messi's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. La Scaloneta were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after REAL COHOLICS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alexis MacAlister took the corner. A hard and well directed shot from Alexis MacAlister led 31 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. REAL COHOLICS's Emanuel Peren became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-2. The audience was convinced that Lion Messi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Peren was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. REAL COHOLICS's Emanuel Peren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis MacAlister in the 44th minute of play. After the first half La Scaloneta were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

La Scaloneta made a substitution. Ramon Lizardi replaced Lion Messi. The wind increased when Ramon Lizardi made the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Peren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon Lizardi in the 55th minute. Emanuel Peren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th match minute, REAL COHOLICS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Rios to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ramon Lizardi managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Scaloneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Lizardi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Peren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lionel Messi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Lionel Messi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Peren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 80th minute, La Scaloneta's Lionel Messi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emanuel Peren. Emanuel Peren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Alexis MacAlister might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Peren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexis MacAlister ran back to his position shaking his head. Jose Rios hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Emanuel Peren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Ramon Lizardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Peren having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, La Scaloneta's Ángel-Fabián Di María nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Peren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Scaloneta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
