Guldsmedshyttan IK's Jarl Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julen Solera in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marc Vallin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rosario Parrales was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 16th minute Andrei Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Boström's late challenge caught a Club Deportivo O IRIXO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Boström helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Guldsmedshyttan IK's zone, Andrei Gil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarl Andreasson came out of the goal and Andrei Gil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rosario Parrales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Berggren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guldsmedshyttan IK's Jarl Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Gil in the 36th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Andrei Gil in the 38th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Andrei Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 43 minutes into the match, Guldsmedshyttan IK's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Gil came free, but Jarl Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Andrei Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarl Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ion De la Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrei Gil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Ion De la Rosa took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Jarl Andreasson to make any attempt to save it. Julen Solera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarl Andreasson made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Andrei Gil sent off a good shot on target. Mats Berggren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosario Parrales having to interfere. Julen Solera hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The supporters of Club Deportivo O IRIXO booed when Guldsmedshyttan IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Boström didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Jarl Andreasson managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Andrei Gil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Guldsmedshyttan IK's Jarl Andreasson got control of the ball when Andrei Gil tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils Wassenius during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Guldsmedshyttan IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Wassenius to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes Guldsmedshyttan IK got a freekick which was hit by Marc Vallin. When Julen Solera came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Club Deportivo O IRIXO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julen Solera couldn't finish the play. If Isak Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Guldsmedshyttan IK's Alf Ek got a free kick in the 91st minute. When the final whistle sounded Club Deportivo O IRIXO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guldsmedshyttan IK.
