Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Silva in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romulo Amestoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With 11 minutes on the clock, Carlos Augusto do Valle commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 10 minutes into the game, one of Capibaribe Stars:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fiori Sabóia had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping King Reyes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 12 minutes into the game, Atlético Grau Piura's King Reyes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fiori Sabóia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Fiori Sabóia came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Grau Piura's Matteo Parandones. But to his dismay, Matteo Parandones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Atlético Grau Piura's Gaspar Yanes got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Breno Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match Fernandez Guasch sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fiori Sabóia skillfully saved the ball. Jairo Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, André Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 56th match minute, Capibaribe Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton da Mata to maneuver through the defense. When Víktor Terra fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capibaribe Stars's protests and gave Víktor Terra a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Capibaribe Stars got a freekick which was hit by Víktor Terra. Matteo Parandones took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fiori Sabóia. Fiori Sabóia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Víktor Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Romulo Amestoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fiori Sabóia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliveiro Sibila's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's Víktor Terra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romulo Amestoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Atlético Grau Piura's Romulo Amestoy got control of the ball when Víktor Terra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Víktor Terras short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Romulo Amestoy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Atlético Grau Piura's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
