The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kristian Nässén hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Albin Arenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Fajteri's Maximilian Stražišar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 12th minute of the match 808s & Heartbreak got a corner. Fajteri's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kaj Smed ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to 808s & Heartbreak getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Kjell Lundkvist hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilian Stražišar in the 16th minute of play forced 808s & Heartbreak's goalkeeper Matthias Bjurström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Ožbej Musar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Bjurström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of 808s & Heartbreak booed when Fajteri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vid Murgelj didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, 808s & Heartbreak's Kaj Smed got a free kick in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Johnny Siggman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 808s & Heartbreak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fajteri the free kick. Johnny Siggman hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute of the match Maximilian Stražišar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matthias Bjurström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 30th minute, Oliver Skark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olov Helström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Eduard Komatar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 35 minutes, Johnny Siggman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 808s & Heartbreak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnny Siggman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Johnny Siggman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eduard Komatar. Johnny Siggman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 45 minutes in the game Giuliano Černilec did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Šimun Kerbler. Nevijo Kecelj's late challenge caught a 808s & Heartbreak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nevijo Kecelj helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fajteri's Nevijo Kecelj got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ožbej Musar was the one to do the kick off. Matthias Bjurström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ožbej Musar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaf Broman scored 3-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matthias Bjurström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 63 minutes into the match, Gustaf Broman notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of 808s & Heartbreak's Matthias Bjurström. Matthias Bjurström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matthias Bjurström was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Ožbej Musar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ožbej Musar really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. The supporters of Fajteri booed when 808s & Heartbreak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaj Smed didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustaf Broman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Matthias Bjurström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vid Murgelj during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Olov Helström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Ožbej Musar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Fajteri's Tonček Sternad got a free kick in the 95th minute.
