Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidoro Velasques in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederik Van Geel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frederik Van Geel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Israel Novais went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Carvalhal in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederik Van Geel saved New York Giants from getting behind. After 40th play minutes Isidoro Velasques shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Frederik Van Geel and just under the crossbar into goal. Isidoro Velasques struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Frederik Van Geel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinhote FC.
