Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 65) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christian Hedling started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Jörlanda got a freekick which was hit by Jens Melberg. After 7 minutes of play, The Skates's Alex Ödmann made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esbjörn Hökqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joacim Svanberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esbjörn Hökqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Bammerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Esbjörn Hökqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Hedling in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Alex Ödmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Esbjörn Hökqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Mogren in the 17th minute of play forced The Skates's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Jörlanda defense, Thomas Olofsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esbjörn Hökqvist. The Jörlanda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esbjörn Hökqvist should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Jörlanda booed when The Skates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Staffan Blomkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Alex Ödmann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Esbjörn Hökqvist. That made the score 4-0 in the 25 minute of play. Jon Karlsson made in the 30th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gert Bammerman. Alex Ödmann took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esbjörn Hökqvist. Esbjörn Hökqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 34 minutes into the game, Alex Ödmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Esbjörn Hökqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Jörlanda defense, Alex Ödmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esbjörn Hökqvist. The Jörlanda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esbjörn Hökqvist should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute Christian Hedling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Hökqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Jörlanda's goalkeeper Esbjörn Hökqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Ödmann. Jörlanda's Esbjörn Hökqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Jörlanda from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute, The Skates's Christian Hedling dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 8-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Simon Mogren made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, The Skates's Gert Bammerman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esbjörn Hökqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Joacim Svanberg struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Esbjörn Hökqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Skates. The Skates's Christian Hedling got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esbjörn Hökqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Ödmann in the 70th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Jörlanda got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Edvin Kellman. Sven Olofsson got a throw-in 75 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Joacim Svanberg. Esbjörn Hökqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Ödmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Bammerman in the 83rd minute of play forced Jörlanda's goalkeeper Esbjörn Hökqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esbjörn Hökqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 96 minutes into the match, Alex Ödmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esbjörn Hökqvist. Jörlanda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Ödmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. The Skates walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
