Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fernandinho Urbano got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, The Skates's goal looked a bit too open when Victor de Salles came free, but Jens-Ola Lund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Thomas Olofsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Skates's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Olofsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeu Souto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the game, Harry Larsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Corinthians's Luís Fernando Guedes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 12 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho Urbano. Romeu Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Ödmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernandinho Urbano in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Ola Lund saved The Skates from getting behind. If Fernandinho Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, The Skates's Harry Larsson got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jon Karlsson hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandinho Urbano in the 26th minute of play forced The Skates's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Zé Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corinthians's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Skates the free kick. After 32 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Zé Valle. In the 35th minute, Jardel Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens-Ola Lund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Valle in the 39th minute. Corinthians's attentive Hudson Sabóia managed to snatch the ball when Jon Karlsson made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Hedling to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Corinthians booed when The Skates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Wennersten didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernandinho Urbano in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Ola Lund saved The Skates from getting behind. In the 60th minute Victor de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, The Skates's Gert Bammerman got a free kick in the 61st minute. Romeu Souto made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Thomas Olofsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute, Luís Fernando Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Victor de Salles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corinthians fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to The Skates getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gert Bammerman hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Alex Ödmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Skates's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Ödmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeu Souto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Victor de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Ola Lund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor de Salles in the 89th minute of play. Romeu Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Ödmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Corinthians fans cheered their team off the field, for while The Skates had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
