With a little luck, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Gernando Paes got control of the ball when Thomas Olofsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jens-Ola Lund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Skates's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lúcio Pitta was slow to take the kick. During this time Nas Horas Vagas F.C's players had a chance to rest. 86 minutes into the match, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goalkeeper Gernando Paes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joacim Svanberg. Gernando Paes was a little too slow when Christian Hedling got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 0-6. When the final whistle sounded The Skates left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nas Horas Vagas F.C.
