Edgard Carioca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nathan Fernandes went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 9th minute, Nathan Fernandes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgard Carioca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathan Fernandes in the 12th minute of play forced Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Edgard Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Nathan Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Edgard Carioca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Domingues notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Dragões Barbudos FC's Edgard Carioca. Edgard Carioca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the game, Breguete FC's Nathan Fernandes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgard Carioca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Domingues in the 30th minute of play forced Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Edgard Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Domingues might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgard Carioca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Domingues ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Breguete FC booed when Dragões Barbudos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Rodrigo Domingues made a precise shot to the right of Edgard Carioca. Dragões Barbudos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Rodrigo Domingues took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgard Carioca. Edgard Carioca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Alagoano was the one to do the kick off. Nathan Fernandes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgard Carioca having to make a save. Ricardo Alagoano charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Alagoano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Dragões Barbudos FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Alagoano. 60 minutes into the game, Roberto Toledo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edgard Carioca. Roberto Toledo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. After 65 minutes of play, Breguete FC's Nathan Fernandes made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgard Carioca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benê Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Edgard Carioca made a huge save. Nathan Fernandes scored 0-12 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgard Carioca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo Furlan came free, but Jefferson Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Domingues was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 89 minutes of play, Breguete FC's Roberto Toledo made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgard Carioca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Breguete FC played a much better game than Dragões Barbudos FC and deserved their victory. The Dragões Barbudos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
