The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Théodore Cordeau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jörn Bergkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Théodore Cordeau in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jörn Bergkvist saved Gotham City from getting behind. After 22 played minutes Gotham City got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Bohlin. After 25 played minutes Gotham City got a freekick which was hit by Claes Abrahamsson. Rodolphe Lenain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jörn Bergkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Théodore Cordeau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Gotham City's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Chalaye came free, but Jörn Bergkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Royal PSG booed when Gotham City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Svartengren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Rodolphe Lenain sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jörn Bergkvist skillfully saved the ball. Björn Fogel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antoine Mano having to make a save. The supporters of Gotham City booed when Royal PSG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustave Szymczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustave Szymczak's late challenge caught a Gotham City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustave Szymczak helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Royal PSG's Gustave Szymczak got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thor Haström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Théodore Cordeau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jörn Bergkvist was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Théodore Cordeau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Jörn Bergkvist made a huge save. If Maurice Chalaye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christopher Wester made in the 92nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Anton Magnusson however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Alkvist in the 95th minute of play forced Royal PSG's goalkeeper Antoine Mano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Björn Fogel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 98th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Royal PSG's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
