The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Agix Banos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amado Larra. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 8th minute, Pastor Soter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Hyllos Hagias got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Dimitris Alatza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amado Larra was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. The Venezia FC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Venezia FC's Julian Ekialde looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Venezia FC's Amado Larra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hyllos Hagias in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Julian Ekialde notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Akis Kiriakopoulos. Akis Kiriakopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the match, Panagiotis Sousanis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amado Larra. Venezia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Panagiotis Sousanis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezia FC the free kick. In the 29th match minute, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iolaos Panagopoulos to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 30 minutes, Severino Maldonado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Maldonado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Ekialde in the 36th minute of play forced ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's goalkeeper Akis Kiriakopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Bras came free, but Akis Kiriakopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Venezia FC's goalkeeper Amado Larra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agix Banos. In the 45th minute, Julian Ekialde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Amado Larra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hyllos Hagias went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. 73 minutes into the match, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Agix Banos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amado Larra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dimitris Alatza charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dimitris Alatza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximino Guillerme hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match.
