Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Machine Gun Kelly's Clodoveo Galoer got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Paulo Freire made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Machine Gun Kelly's Sixto Etxeberri. Róbson Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Sayveon in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Domingos Peter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Róbson Netto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Domingos Peter struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Róbson Netto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Machine Gun Kelly. Domingos Peter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amador Christobal hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Machine Gun Kelly's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Reynaldo Paulista 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After 40 played minutes Atlético Mineiro got a freekick which was hit by Vânderson Lucas. The supporters of Machine Gun Kelly booed when Atlético Mineiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valério Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregorio Carlomagno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Róbson Netto. Atlético Mineiro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingos Peter made a kick off. Ramiro Gagriel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clodoveo Galoer got free with Róbson Netto in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Flavio Sayveon got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 57 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, Atlético Mineiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo Freire to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Atlético Mineiro's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Carlomagno came free, but Róbson Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Paulista notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Machine Gun Kelly's Ramiro Gagriel. Ramiro Gagriel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 85 played minutes Atlético Mineiro got a freekick which was hit by Valério Andrade. With a little luck, Atlético Mineiro's Róbson Netto got control of the ball when Domingos Peter tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Saverio Procopio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
