Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alastair Wishart got the match started through his kick off. Ed Beckham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Canyelles in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 minutes of play, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Gabriel Redondo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ed Beckham was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ed Beckham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Canyelles in the 8th minute of the match. Ed Beckham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Villalcazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ed Beckham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Canyelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Gabriel Redondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juventus Telford's Ed Beckham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 27 minutes, Gabriel Redondo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Juventus Telford's Ed Beckham tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Canyelles in the 29th minute of play forced Juventus Telford's goalkeeper Ed Beckham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st match minute, Juventus Telford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordan Whittaker to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Dionisio Canyelles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ed Beckham. Juventus Telford's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dionisio Canyelles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ed Beckham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Redondo's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Toby Claydon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half C.D. Ciudad de Soria were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Gabriel Redondo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Ed Beckham skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ed Beckham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Canyelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes C.D. Ciudad de Soria's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pat Silk who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Toby Claydon heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ugutz Albizua could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ed Beckham made a huge save. When Ugutz Albizua came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the C.D. Ciudad de Soria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ugutz Albizua couldn't finish the play. Perry Boyd kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Perry Boyd fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juventus Telford's protests and gave Perry Boyd a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, one of Juventus Telford:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Juventus Telford. After 77 minutes of play, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Ovidio Zapater made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ed Beckham was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Canyelles in the 84th minute of play forced Juventus Telford's goalkeeper Ed Beckham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ed Beckham was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gabriel Redondo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 85 minute of play. Ed Beckham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Redondo in the 87th minute. After 91 played minutes Juventus Telford got a freekick which was hit by Tony Morning. Gabriel Redondo scored 1-6 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ed Beckham, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucas Sabina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toby Claydon in the 96th minute of play. Lucas Sabina came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus Telford's Alastair Wishart. But to his dismay, Alastair Wishart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. The C.D. Ciudad de Soria supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.D. Ciudad de Soria would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
