In the 6th match minute, Xurupita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nildo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Cordero Sánchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Durvalino Garcia's late challenge caught a Hispania's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Teodoro Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xurupita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elivareo Novo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 minutes of play, Hispania's Quilino Talavera made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arlindo Meireles was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quilino Talavera in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arlindo Meireles saved Xurupita FC from getting behind. The supporters of Hispania booed when Xurupita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Hispania were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Hispania's Quilino Talavera was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Arlindo Meireles made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Cordero Sánchez sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Hispania booed when Xurupita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quilino Talavera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eurico Marinho hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Arlindo Meireles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Veto Jareño. Quilino Talavera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Arlindo Meireles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arlindo Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quilino Talavera, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quilino Talavera got free with Arlindo Meireles in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Quilino Talavera put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Arlindo Meireles. After a defensive mix-up in Xurupita FC's zone, Viviano Soto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arlindo Meireles came out of the goal and Viviano Soto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 91 minutes of play, Hispania's Cordero Sánchez made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arlindo Meireles was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Hispania players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
