O.T.E were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Fillos de Breogán's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iason Papadimoulis took the corner. O.T.E's Iason Papadimoulis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Xosé Galaiko in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in O.T.E's zone, Xesus Galaiko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vrasidas Pelidis came out of the goal and Xesus Galaiko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to O.T.E getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Alekos Roubakis hit a great ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Orlando Rivera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. O.T.E's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Rivera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, O.T.E's Panos Stavrelis got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Xoan Galaiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vrasidas Pelidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xosé Galaiko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alekos Roubakis in the 34th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Fillos de Breogán got a freekick which was hit by Magdaleno Peña. Arnaldo Pedriza hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Xosé Galaiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakis Batirakis in the 45th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iason Papadimoulis during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, O.T.E was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iason Papadimoulis to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Rivera to make the kick off. Fillos de Breogán's Xosé Galaiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alekos Roubakis in the 75th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Alekos Roubakis took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Xosé Galaiko to make any attempt to save it. Xoan Galaiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Vrasidas Pelidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xosé Galaiko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Rivera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Quique Portillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Vrasidas Pelidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, O.T.E's Orlando Rivera got a free kick in the 88th minute. Xosé Galaiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Rivera in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of O.T.E booed when Fillos de Breogán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Parra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, O.T.E's Orlando Rivera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xosé Galaiko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 95 minutes into the game, Veremundo Caballero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fillos de Breogán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave O.T.E the free kick. A collision led to Fillos de Breogán getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Veremundo Caballero hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Fillos de Breogán lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
