North Pole Kickers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jan Wallman in the 4th minute. After taking down the ball on North Pole Kickers's corner Jan Wallman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Son Downs quite easily take care of the ball. The Saturno fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Saturno's Eleuterio Ekhi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Saturno getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Paolo Ugaitz hit a great ball. Son Downs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villiam Tholsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Saturno booed when North Pole Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Byström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villiam Tholsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Son Downs having to make a save. Son Downs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villiam Tholsson in the 20th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Villiam Tholsson notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Saturno's Son Downs. Son Downs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Son Downs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Villiam Tholsson's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute Villiam Tholsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Son Downs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. North Pole Kickers's Villiam Tholsson managed to work through Saturno's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Villiam Tholsson dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. A collision led to North Pole Kickers getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Michael Ahlbeck hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Saturno's Paolo Ugaitz got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Son Downs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villiam Tholsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Villiam Tholsson was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Villiam Tholsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Son Downs however easily saved by the left post. Mariano Eleder's late challenge caught a North Pole Kickers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mariano Eleder helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Saturno getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Mariano Eleder hit a great ball. Folke Bure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Benet in the 65th minute of play. North Pole Kickers's Villiam Tholsson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 67th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of North Pole Kickers booed when Saturno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Ekhi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villiam Tholsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gösta Ekgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Son Downs having to interfere. The throw-in from Paolo Ugaitz in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by North Pole Kickers's Gösta Ekgren. After a defensive mix-up in Saturno's zone, Villiam Tholsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Son Downs came out of the goal and Villiam Tholsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
