It was a well-played corner which Orlando Ramírez managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Aurelian Ştiubei came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Buenaventura FC's Julio De Diego. But to his dismay, Julio De Diego quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Aurelian Ştiubei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio De Diego, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. FC Buciumii's Aurelian Ştiubei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save FC Buciumii from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, one of Buenaventura FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Buenaventura FC. The supporters of Buenaventura FC booed when FC Buciumii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Petrin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Buenaventura FC's Alberto Aizprua sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelian Ştiubei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luca Magherescu's late challenge caught a Buenaventura FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Magherescu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Buenaventura FC booed when FC Buciumii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Magherescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

FC Buciumii's Aurelian Ştiubei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Ramírez in the 51st minute of play. Sebastian Giubelean charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Giubelean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastian Giubelean hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the game, Julio De Diego cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Aurelian Ştiubei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jorge Oberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petru Plopeanu in the 66th minute of play. Petru Plopeanu took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Oberto. Jorge Oberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Buenaventura FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alberto Aizprua in the 71st minute. A collision led to Buenaventura FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Alberto Aizprua hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Buenaventura FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Jorge Oberto had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Luca Magherescu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Orlando Ramírez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 4-2 became the score in the 86th minute when Miguel Urane elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Walter Bock got a free kick in the 89th minute. Orlando Ramírez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Aurelian Ştiubei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buenaventura FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
