An unexpectedly hard shot by Prosper Vey in the 6th minute of play forced FC Buciumii's goalkeeper Aurelian Ştiubei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jérôme Rabu's late challenge caught a FC Buciumii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jérôme Rabu helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes, FC Buciumii's Marin Rada shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yohann Debove came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Buciumii reached it. In the 11th minute Sebastian Giubelean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yohann Debove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Paris's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Bârsan came free, but Yohann Debove reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Erwin Moyne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelian Ştiubei was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Erwin Moyne had several of the FC Buciumii's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Aurelian Ştiubei as he didn't even see the shot coming. Aurelian Ştiubei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Loup Melchior in the 22nd minute of play. Erwin Moyne's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Aurelian Ştiubei skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 34th minute, Paris's Charles-Henri Grivet seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Charles-Henri Grivet the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Paris protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Charles-Henri Grivet had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of FC Buciumii booed when Paris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles-Henri Grivet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Ronan Brouillet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Buciumii's Aurelian Ştiubei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 41 played minutes Paris got a freekick which was hit by Jérôme Rabu. In the 41st minute of the match Luca Magherescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yohann Debove showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lamine Beau hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Giubelean stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pierre-Loup Melchior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Ştiubei having to interfere. Petru Plopeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Mike Allègre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 63 minutes, Pierre-Loup Melchior managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierre-Loup Melchior was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mike Allègre in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelian Ştiubei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Prosper Vey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Aurelian Ştiubei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Prosper Vey made a precise shot to the right of Aurelian Ştiubei. FC Buciumii's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After having played for 80 minutes, Prosper Vey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prosper Vey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paris were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Buciumii for a fine match.
