An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Enciu in the 30th minute of play forced Åsnes's goalkeeper Christer Waaler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Åsnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Buvarp to maneuver through the defense. Codruț Ferenț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half GoooooooooooooooooooooooL were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Ferenț came free, but Christer Waaler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55th play minutes Luca Enciu shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Christer Waaler and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Luca Enciu took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Christer Waaler to make any attempt to save it. In the 61st minute, Codruț Ferenț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christer Waaler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudiu Bociort in the 64th minute. After 94 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Jon-Egil Gjelsvik. Petre Pășcuțoiu in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christer Waaler, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Åsnes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
