Bob Bongo started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lóránd Zsinka got free with Domingos Santiago in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ákos Kovács's late challenge caught a Free Pot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 22 minutes, Valdemar Thürmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ágyúsok FC and the Free Pot players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ágyúsok FC's Valdemar Thürmann got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Mihály Horváth's late challenge caught a Free Pot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihály Horváth helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Free Pot booed when Ágyúsok FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihály Horváth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Mari Guanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bálint Vas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingos Santiago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lóránd Zsinka in the 34th minute of the match. Bálint Vas came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Free Pot's Jervis Flyagin. But to his dismay, Jervis Flyagin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 38th minute Mari Guanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bálint Vas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Mari Guanes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bálint Vas. Ágyúsok FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mari Guanes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 46th minute Lóránd Zsinka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Domingos Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Károly Fazekas, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lóránd Zsinka in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingos Santiago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lóránd Zsinka struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Domingos Santiago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ágyúsok FC. Valdemar Thürmann kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. A collision led to Free Pot getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Federico Rey hit a great ball. Domingos Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jácint Vámosi, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Bob Bongo fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Free Pot's protests and gave Bob Bongo a yellow card for diving instead. Domingos Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lóránd Zsinka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Free Pot left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ágyúsok FC.
