An unexpectedly hard shot by Nae Vasilescu in the 6th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute RED BLUE STAR were awarded a corner. Vintilă Ilie went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on RED BLUE STAR's corner Vintilă Ilie fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luiz Guilherme Simão quite easily take care of the ball. 19 minutes into the game, RED BLUE STAR's Paul Petran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Guilherme Simão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luiz Guilherme Simão came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by RED BLUE STAR's Paul Petran. But to his dismay, Paul Petran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 28 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Răcănel came free, but Luiz Guilherme Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to RED BLUE STAR getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Paul Petran hit a great ball. Codruț Astafei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 39 minutes into the game, Edvaldo Peixoto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RED BLUE STAR the free kick. Paul Petran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme Simão having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Paul Petran notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Luiz Guilherme Simão. Luiz Guilherme Simão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul Petran was the one to do the kick off. RED BLUE STAR's Nicolae Borcea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Nestor in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of RED BLUE STAR booed when DIPLOMATA FC PAB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Nestor didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Luiz Guilherme Simão managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when RED BLUE STAR's Paul Petran fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luiz Guilherme Simão stood somewhat misplaced when Paul Petran came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 54 minute. After 58 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by Luan Gaspar. Paul Petran succeeded in the game's 59th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. If Paul Petran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th play minute Paul Petran came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luiz Guilherme Simão. 0-8. In the 77th minute, Rodrigo Nestor made a precise shot to the right of Nicolae Borcea. RED BLUE STAR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. Codruț Astafei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme Simão having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Nestor came free, but Nicolae Borcea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Petran got free with Luiz Guilherme Simão in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to DIPLOMATA FC PAB getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Rodrigo Nestor hit a great ball. If Grigore Buzgar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Petran got free with Luiz Guilherme Simão in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The DIPLOMATA FC PAB fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. RED BLUE STAR were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
