Geçkinli's Mehmet Ediz Tanbek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higino Lameiras in the 29th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sinan Ağaoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Sinan Ağaoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute Sinan Ağaoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Sinan Ağaoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DPD FC's Nuno Pais was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sinan Ağaoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vítor Torres fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DPD FC's protests and gave Vítor Torres a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Geçkinli booed when DPD FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdulvahit Talat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Pais having to interfere. Sinan Ağaoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Geçkinli fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. DPD FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
