The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Ricard Vache made a precise shot to the right of Geovanni Vides. TAQUARI FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Geovanni Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentín Bello, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Modestio Jina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Ornitorrincos F.C. from getting a goal against them. A collision led to TAQUARI FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Philipp Lahn hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Valentín Bello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovanni Vides was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Geovanni Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentín Bello in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Ornitorrincos F.C. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Octavio Samaniego hit a great ball. Vinicio Junior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Paut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Geovanni Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Fabiano Clemente received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Modestio Jina came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Fabiano Clemente slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 26th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adalberto Damião during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adalberto Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 39 minutes, Ricard Vache made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. TAQUARI FC's Geovanni Vides tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

In the 54th minute Luís Fabiano Clemente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modestio Jina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maicon Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match, Valentín Bello got a very nice opportunity to score, but Geovanni Vides was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Modestio Jina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabi Gol in the 63rd minute of play. Valentín Bello's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Geovanni Vides firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience was convinced that Ricard Vache's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovanni Vides was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. With a little luck, TAQUARI FC's Geovanni Vides got control of the ball when Valentín Bello tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Ornitorrincos F.C. booed when TAQUARI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovanni Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duardo Pruniel in the 73rd minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper Geovanni Vides had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentín Bello. After 79 minutes TAQUARI FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ricard Vache who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Gabi Gol got a free kick in the 80th minute. Valentín Bello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Geovanni Vides made a huge save. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Ricard Vache sped through TAQUARI FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Geovanni Vides. The crowd rose to their feet as Enmanuel Carte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geovanni Vides. That made the score 1-5 in the 90 minute of play. In the 97th minute, Zézinho Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricard Vache in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovanni Vides prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle sounded Ornitorrincos F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than TAQUARI FC.
